簡　　介

Brief Introduction of  Shenyang Railway Steam locomotive Exhibition Hall 

      瀋陽鐵路蒸汽機車陳列館位于瀋陽市蘇家屯區鐵路機務段北側，佔地8000平方米，設有兩條停放展覽機車的綫路。

　　館內収藏美國、日本、蘇聯、比利時、捷克、波蘭、德國、中國等8個國家共16台已經退役的蒸汽機車．其中1907年美國生產的  DB1型小型機車是目前館內展出最古老的機車。日本川崎公司1934年制造的SL7型機車，設計速度130公里/小時，動輪直徑2米，外形呈流綫型，曾用于牽引特快列車，十分引人注目．我國1957年生產的JS型、1960年生產的 QJ型是中華人民共和國成立後自行設計制造的，它們在中國鐵路機車制造史上寫下了光輝的篇章，成為中國人民的驕傲。

　　瀋陽鐵路蒸汽機車陳列館自1984年開館以來，做為瀋陽市旅游景點之一，先後接待了美國、日本、英國等中外參觀者數萬人，許多國內朋友和中小學生也爭先前來觀瞻。1993年被瀋陽市命名為中小學生德育教育基地。1995年被鐵道部命名為愛國主義教育基地。

　      Shenyang Railway Steam Locomotive Exhibition Hall is located in the north of Sujiatun Railway Section of Shenyang City occupying 8,000 square meters.  There are two railways in it used to park exhibits. 

       Sixteen antiquated steam locomotive which from America, Japan, Soviet, Belgium, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Germany and China respectively were collected in the Exhibition Hall.  The DB 1 miniature steam locomotive, made in 1907 from America, was the oldest exhibit.  The SL 7 steam locomotive made by Japanese Suzuki Inc. in 1934 has a design speed of 130 kilometers per hours and the driving wheel with 2m diameter, its streamline appearance is very attractive and was the first used in drawing express train.

       The JS type and QJ type Steam locomotives were designed in 1957 and 1960 respectively by ourselves after the foundation of our country, they have written a splendid chapter in railway steam locomotive manufacturing history of China and were proud of by Chinese people.

       Being one of the Shenyang’s tourism sceneries, the Exhibition Hall has numerous visitors from America, Japan, England and China since it’s opening in 1984.

       Many of our domestic friends and students have also visited it.  The Exhibition Hall was named as Moral Education Base for Students by Shenyang city in 1993, and as Patriotism Education Base by the Railway Ministry in 1995.
